Companies today are facing ever greater challenges in the development of new products. The omnipresence of digitalisation and the interdisciplinary merging of technical know-how and organisational complexity place high demands on all those involved. Advanced Systems Engineering is a solution approach to meet these challenges and make them manageable. It is a guiding principle for the successful design of innovative products, services and product service systems and their development process.
At the Advanced Systems Engineering Summit 2022, which took place at Fraunhofer IAO on 12 and 13 July 2022, Tobias Stürmlinger, Business Developer at EDI GmbH, gave a presentation on smart product service systems from the bi-smart project, which are being developed on the basis of Advanced Systems Engineering.
Advanced Systems Engineering is supported by the AdWISE project, which aims to further develop and establish its use through scientific analysis and future-oriented processing.
