Final Symposium of the RELAI Project

Final Symposium of the RELAI Project

To conclude the RELAI project - Risk Estimation with a Learning AI - a final symposium will be held as a digital conference on 29 September 2022 from 08:00 - 13:30.

The RELAI project aims to analyse real road traffic scenarios and the driving behaviour necessary for safe driving. For this purpose, not only the official traffic rules but also the traffic behaviour of other road users were taken into account. The results are virtual training & test scenarios for testing the driving behaviour of autonomously driving vehicles.

Dr. Thomas Freudenmann, project coordinator and CEO of EDI GmbH, will welcome the participants and give an overview of the project.

The overview lecture at the end of the event is aimed at interested citizens who would like to learn more about the "virtual TÜV". The lectures, which will be held in English, are aimed at experts from industry and science on the topic of safeguarding automated vehicles, driving behaviour that conforms to expectations and risk assessment from a human perspective.

The partners of the research project are Fraunhofer IOSB, Fraunhofer IAO, University of Stuttgart and IPG. The project is funded by the mFUND from the Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr (BMVI). We would like to thank them very much for their cooperation!
